Sunday Night Studies
All Sunday Evening Bible Studies meet at the church from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Dive deeper into God’s Word and learn to follow the Lord Jesus closer through these studies. No sign-up is required and all studies are completely free.
The following studies meet from January 15 through April 1, 2012
Tactics in Defending the Faith – Room 502
“All Christians are hypocrites.” “There is nothing wrong with same sex marriage. They’re not hurting anyone.” “All religions are pretty much the same.” If you’ve wanted to respond to statements like these, but did not know what to say, Tactics in Defending the Faith will teach you how to respond in a gracious, whimsical manner, as an ambassador of Jesus Christ. Through discussion and role play, you will learn easy-to-use skills that address these statements from a Christian perspective, while representing Christ in a positive way. Our goal is to “put a stone in their shoe” related to these and other issues commonly heard in our world today. Our Lord can use that stone as a step in the journey of one’s salvation. Join us.

Kingdom Principles for the Marketplace – Room 500
This study is designed to encourage anyone that works a secular job who wants to have a more meaningful influence among their associates. You will learn how to use your role in the marketplace as a platform for meaningful ministry, learn how to recognize opportunities that exist to do Kingdom work through your job, and will explore the realistic barriers that you will face. You will also be introduced to the LaRed Ministry which uses forty principles from the book of Proverbs to provide a platform for engaging conversations and to teach principles that will result in real business success. Pat will show you how the Lord has used LaRed in his own life. This class is easy to participate in and together we will explore practical and invaluable ways to share and apply Kingdom principles in the marketplace.

Great Commission Class – Room 505/507
This class is designed to cultivate a greater heart for missions with others in the body. We have three objectives: to pray together, to learn together, and to get involved together. This class is open to all. In session one (January 15 – February 12) we will engage in a series called God’s Story Line. After our Night of Worship (NOW) on February 19, we will begin our second session on February 26 – April 1 with a series called Radical based on David Platt’s book by that title. In addition to these studies, we will hear from our missionaries both in person and through Skype.
Led by Steve Marshall
The following study meets all year.
