Anchor Points: The Trials & Triumphs in the Life of Moses
THURSDAY EVENING MEN’S STUDY

Like Moses, we have all experienced unique challenges. These challenges can serve to strengthen our character, give us boldness, and confirm our dependency on God. The trials and triumphs in life become anchor points, transforming our lives as we become godly men in an age of godlessness. Join us as we identify with Moses and become better equipped for our next desert or oasis experience. If you are new to Maranatha, this is a great way to get involved in our Men’s Ministry.

Women’s Weeknight Studies

All women are invited to attend a study, but please sign up ahead so that we can order any curriculum or books that accompany your study. We don’t want anyone to miss out!

How to sign up for a study:

Registration for the Women’s Ministry Bible studies will occur on Sunday, January 6 and Sunday, January 13 in the lobbies at church. Online registration will begin January 2 and will end when all studies are full. SORRY, ALL STUDIES ARE FULL.

True Woman 101: Divine Design By Mary Kassian and Nancy Leigh DeMoss
SUNDAY EVENING WOMEN’S STUDY

Did you know that God has a divine design for womanhood? And His plan is spectacular—far more attractive than the world promotes! During this 12-week study, you will discover and embrace God’s mission for our lives as women and learn to more intentionally pass the baton of Truth to the next generation.

Divorce Care: You Don’t Have to Go Through it Alone
TUESDAY EVENING WOMEN’S STUDY

Have you personally experienced divorce or separation? DivorceCare is a national program designed to support those who have experienced separation or divorce. It features biblical teaching to deal with the pain of the past and to look forward to the future.

The program includes videos and small group discussion. Topics include anger, depression, loneliness, forgiveness, finances, children and new relationships. Discussion is designed for any woman who has dealt with divorce, regardless of the amount of time that has passed.

DivorceCare will be offered in two parts. Part 1 will be held this Fall and Part 2 will be offered in January 2013. For more information, go to www.divorcecare.org.

Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman By Beth Moore
WEDNESDAY EVENING WOMEN’S STUDY

God has a destiny for you. You’ve been chosen for such a time as this. Join us for this great story of threat and deliverance as Beth Moore peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives today. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This story contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.

The Power of a Woman’s Words By Sharon Jaynes
THURSDAY EVENING WOMEN’S STUDY

A woman’s words can be used for good or evil. By choosing words that build instead of destroy, you can encourage your spouse, children, friends, co-workers, and family. Using examples from the Bible, Sharon Jaynes shows how woman influenced those around them, some positively and others negatively. By learning to control the tongue, your relationships with others will flourish!

Live Fearlessly: A Study in the Book of Joshua By Lenya Heitzig and Penny Rose
THURSDAY EVENING WOMEN’S STUDY

After Moses’ death, God chose Joshua to be the next commander-in-chief. Big shoes to fill? You bet! Big problems to face? Oh yes! But God promised to guide and guard His faithful servant. We, too, face battles and challenges that seem larger than life. Just as He did for Joshua, God assures us of His continual presence. As we evaluate the state of our world, we’ll see that Live Fearlessly is relevant for us today.
