10:45 ABFs

What is an ABF?

ABF stands for Adult Bible Fellowship. Sometimes the church can seem large and it’s hard to get to know other people. ABFs are a way to learn about God’s word together in a smaller setting; one small enough to make friends in. ABFs meets weekly on Sunday mornings throughout the church. There are many to choose from, so we hope you can find one that’s right for you!

Room 500
Mike Bates and Don Anderson

Would you like to “shadow” the Lord Jesus Christ as He walked through His earthly ministry? Without time travel we cannot do it literally but we can certainly do it figuratively. We are going through the Gospel of Luke and looking in depth at what Jesus did, why He did it and what it means to us today. If you enjoy interactive Bible study come join us.

Sonrise, Room 501
John Wagner

The Sonrise ABF will foster a closer walk with God by presenting clear biblical teaching using real world examples and applications. We will become friends, pray and care for each other, eat together, and have fun activities outside the classroom. If you don’t currently attend an ABF, this could be just what you are looking for.

Accelerate, Room 502
Tony Short

We love routine and we are driven by our schedules. We prioritize work, family, church, and many other important things. Yet in our business we often neglect what is most important: our walk with Christ. In our fast-paced culture, prioritizing our spiritual growth can become an afterthought. Accelerate is an ABF for adults in their 30s. Our focus is helping you “accelerate” your walk with Christ through the teaching of God’s Word, encouragement and accountability through fellowship with your peers, and helping you rediscover life the way God intended it.

Room 503
Dennis Shawhan

dennisshawhan

New Horizons ABF.  Dennis Shawhan will host a series of studies beginning with a series on obedience. First will be a series on God’s Storyline: A study of the Old & New Testaments. We will also cover topics such as God’s attributes, Bible doctrines, and spiritual gifts. If you are not currently in an ABF, we welcome you to join us for community, learning, and service.

Room 504
Dave Duma

It’s easy to live the Christian life when we are in church. Learn how God wants us to live the Christian life Monday through Saturday at home and in the work place to draw people into His Kingdom.

SALT, Room 505
Don Rohrbacher

The SALT class places an emphasis on teaching of the Bible with application to practical living. They desire a sense of community through mutual sharing, acts of kindness, fellowship, meeting the needs of one another, and opportunities to work together for the Lord. Their class name helps them remember these principles:
Season the world with
Acts of kindness
Language that edifies
Today and tomorrow
