HOW THE MEMBERSHIP PROCESS WORKS

Step 1: Orientation Luncheon

You are invited to attend an orientation luncheon that will take place right after the 10:45 am service. Members of our leadership team will be there for you to become acquainted with. You will also be given your information/forms packet so you can review the doctrinal statement before attending the membership class. This step is optional for membership, but if you do not attend, arrangements should be made to pick up a membership packet prior to the date of the luncheon.

Step 2: Membership Class

You will be required to attend a Sunday evening membership class (4:30-6:00 pm) where staff members and/or elders will speak on different aspects of Maranatha’s philosophy and doctrine. Please sign up for this class by calling the church office at 330.645.2681 or by filling out the form below.

Step 3: Interview

If you desire to become a member, you will be scheduled for an interview by a member of Maranatha’s leadership team (staff, elder, or deacon). Your spiritual gift questionnaire, membership form, and family information forms must be completed and brought to your interview.

Step 4: Recognition of new Members

On the following Sunday, all the new members will be presented (as a group) to the congregation at the end of each service. It is not necessary for you to attend both services.
