Sunday mornings at 9:15 am and 10:45 am.

We are preparing young hearts and minds on their journey to Jesus. As part of a biblical community, children engage in worship, experience prayer, and learn to show Christ’s love to others.

9:15 am Kids meet by grades (1-2 and 3-4). Grade 5 has a special Kids United: Varsity Program. Kids rotate between two rooms for worship in song, biblical teaching, and purposeful activities.

10:45 am Kids meet by grade (K, 1, 2, 3, and 4-5 is combined). This time involves biblical teaching in an interactive and creative way for kids. The kids are in medium-sized group settings. We strive to keep a child-to-servant ratio of ten-to-one.

Olympians

Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:15 pm, September – April

Olympians is a small group discipleship program for kids in grades K-5. The Olympic theme consists of pledges, prayer, and songs. In the Team Training portion (large group) there will be a lesson followed by review questions. The Personal Training time (small group) will be focused on relationships with Jesus and sharing what was learned from weekday devotional journals. There is also a time for team activities. During the week kids are encouraged to have quiet times with God and to memorize verses which they will share the following Sunday evening.

Bible Bookmark Program

We are encouraging children to read the Bible daily (parents may read to their child) and answer a few questions on what they’ve learned. Each Sunday at the children’s welcome table your child may pick up a new Bible Bookmark, complete it that week, and return it the following Sunday for a treat. To receive a treat they should have a parent’s initials on the bookmark and answers to the questions on the back.NOTE: Especially recommended for kids not in Olympians.

Kids With a Mission (KWAM)

This outreach program consists of one week of special lessons from God’s Word, great crafts, fun games, and new friends. It meets Monday through Friday at the church in the evening. It is usually held in July and is for kids entering grades 1-6. Watch for information on the upcoming program by checking this website’s home page for a link. To view pictures from KWAM, click here.

Discovery Club

Bringing the good news of the gospel into the public schools! Clubs meet for an hour and a half, once a week for six weeks in the fall, winter, and spring. They meet after school in Green, Coventry and Springfield elementary schools. Contact the church office for details.
