About Us
Maranatha Bible Church was founded on September 24, 1995, when 465 people first met for worship at Springfield High School. From its beginning, the church has been purpose-driven, focusing on worship, evangelism, discipleship, service, and fellowship. From the start, Maranatha Bible Church has been a growing church… from 465 to over 1,700 in attendance. The focus of the church’s leaders however, has not been on growth in numbers, but on the spiritual health of the church.
The property where Maranatha stands was purchased in 1997. In August 2002, ground was broken and on Sunday, February 8, 2004, the work became a reality with the first worship service being held in the new building.
